Glen Falls Trailhead
Got an hour to fill on a summer day? A hike to Glen Falls is an excellent choice. Driving south (uphill) on Ochs Highway, the trailhead is the first pullover on the left about 150 yards after passing the intersection with Sanders Road (marked by signs indicating a Picnic Area) on Ochs Highway. Coming down Ochs Highway, you'll see a large Ruby Falls sign on the right at the trailhead.
Start Your Hike
There are only short trails accessed from this trailhead. The Glen Falls trail is less than a mile in length but a fascinating hike. The somewhat forgotten Shingle Trail which is even shorter at .62 miles, but connects up to the Whiteside Road and the Sanders Road picnic area, making longer hikes possible.
